Inaccurate/Misleading Info: First Air date/Former Callsigns

[edit]

The information listed in the infobox for "First Air date" and "Former Callsigns" is inaccurate. KDPS first went on the air well before June 24 2005 and was never known as DKDPS for any extended period of time. This information was probably misleadingly (or automatically) acquired from an FCC database, which may have listed this information for the station when it was temporarilly unlicensed at around that point in time.

Could somebody please do the appropriate research and list when KDPS truly first went on the air... or, alternatively, remove this misleading information? I don't want to remove the information for fear of it appearing as vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fortissimo (talkcontribs) 08:27, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

NPOV

[edit]

As this article appears to be an advert, the neutral point of view is questionable. Some examples:

  • Weasel words
    • Kids Radio Mania is considered the premier radio station for children in the country.
  • Missing references
    • Unlike Radio Disney, it does not air any inappropriate pop material.
    • Unlike some of the folk-based public radio children's programs
  • Point of view
    • Instead the format is run as a true radio format that is addictive for kids
    • In addition to entertaining, the station educates.

The notability of the program must be established as well, otherwise the article may be prodded or even deleted. -- ReyBrujo 18:14, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
