I have worked on this article and added references to every piece of it's information. It has been written using examples from articles written on similar types of speakers that I have found on wiki. I have also asked a few editors to look at the article. It had already been on wikipedia for a couple of weeks and was removed and called spam even though it had never been nominated for speedy deletion and had several references as well. I'm hoping that editors will be considerate. check the references and if there is anything at all that sounds like promotion or advertising, please make note of it here in the discussion or change it as you feel necessary. The article is strictly based upon functional information and technical specifications with citations from credible technical magazines.Cheaperbydozen (talk) 13:12, 27 July 2009 (UTC) I have added two substantially notable references to the article and have removed the 'notability tag' Sixthstring (talk) 23:16, 1 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am concerned as to why this COI has been introduced. It seems very odd and this article has been reviewed by several editors prior to being moved. I am also wondering why after several modifications to the article and also requests and commentary from a number of editors, this 'advertisement' post has been introduced. I have absolutely no conflict of interest. My only interest is that i spent some time working on an article. Now, I don't plan to do in depth research on wiki because if one does, he is deemed to be in COI. If every article I start is in COI then, every article on wikipedia must be in COI. I don't understand this.Cheaperbydozen (talk) 00:57, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

This article reads exactly like an advert, and includes no information not already in the manufacturer's specs used for selling it.

Particularly, what is the "gel technology"? Telling us it's patented means nothing, though I'm amused to see American adverts still use "patented" as a selling point, after all these years! Since it's patented, the information is available publicly. It should be included. Is it some sort of electro-kinetic gel, or mundane slime as a useless selling point? If this product is in any way different to the thousands of other amplified speakers, it needs to be said why.

If anyone was asking, I'd say this was just an ad and needed deleting.
