Clarification Needed

[edit]

I moved a section here from the summary. I think the wording is a little unclear. If someone can reword this and find a reference, feel free to add it back in:

Both organizations then later individually kept holding the event every year on New Year's Eve, an important night for Japanese television. Since then, every year on New Year's Eve PRIDE Otoko Matsuri (known as Shockwave in the USA), K-1 PREMIUM Dynamite!! along with Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye would air in a ratings war that for a while was dominated by K-1, but in 2005 PRIDE won the rating war for the first time, though its network contract was terminated in 2006.[citation needed]
