Use of Justin's blog as a reference

I referenced Justin's own blog (justinlall.wordpress.com) and was warned that blogs are not reliable sources, and that I should put something on the talk page; please excuse me as I'm unsure of what I should be writing here, but while I do understand where blogs are not reliable sources, in this case, it is from the primary source of the subject himself, so it feels like this is not the case to be worried about. Happy to defer if this does not meet standards.

Reference for Justin being bipolar

The best reference for Justin having bipolar disease was written by his sister in the gofundme she set up for him at his death. There are a few other references in his blog and other blogs, but not from him directly. Wikipedia does not allow reference links to gofundme. If someone else can find another source, would be grateful.
