Cipher21, this is not a reasonable way to write a lead. This is a page on Junagadh state, not its annexation/integration/occupation or whatever. It is UNDUE to make a big deal of it in the lead. Every one of the 560+ princely states of the British Raj stands annexed to either India or Pakistan. Those rulers or regimes are nowhere to be seen in the present day. You need to see the history in its context. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:29, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

When was the state founded? It's a simple question that isn't answered clearly. The article mentions three different things. One, that a group of Rajputs allegedly founded the state (although no further information is given, and I'm inclined to remove this uncited content). Two, that the Babi dynasty, which was founded in 1654, was the start of the Junagadh state (which is pretty well attested to). And three, in the infobox, that it started in the 1730s. This is contradictory information, and someone needs to work this out. Ironborn392 (talk) 01:29, 1 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
