Requested move 27 August 2025

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. Given that GeoNames is WP:UGC, we shouldn't let it influence our titles. If better WP:RS arise, we can have this discussion again, but from a glance the WP:PTOPIC argument for the song appears to be fairly solid with the lack of evidence that the name Juna applies to the place instead. (Note that due to low participation, I am treating this as a technical request and am open to reopening the discussion if anybody disagrees) (closed by non-admin page mover) ASUKITE 14:34, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Edit as another editor has thankfully notified me, I was referring to the wrong GeoNames above, so I've struck my comment about it. ASUKITE 19:10, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Juna (song)JunaWP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Jask-e Kohneh, which Juna redirects to, has almost no page views on a daily basis, and has had 162 page views for the entire year. Juna (song) has surpassed this in its 5 days of existence. Anyway, the bigger reason is that "Juna" doesn't even appear in the source it is cited with (, source 3), making it unclear why it redirects to Jask-e Kohneh. jolielover♥talk 17:45, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Comment: Expanding the leftmost cell in the attribute table reveals that Juna is in fact listed as a variant name for Jask-e Kohneh by GeoNames. Whether that alone prevents the song from being the primary topic is a different question. LifeofTau 21:23, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
