George is a Greek name meaning 'husbandman', Joseph is a Jewish\ Hebrew name originating from 'to add, to increase'. They aren't related even semantically, let alone culturally. --92.114.148.141 (talk) 20:46, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
