The river is holy to Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. 2601:902:C180:5800:9330:B0B9:4C15:5961 (talk) 18:57, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Szmenderowiecki (talk) 19:45, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
“Semitic Languages”
[edit]Why isn’t the largest Semitic language in the region mentioned by name? Aramaic, Hebrew and other Semitic languages, really? It should be Arabic and other Semitic languages. This is intentional. Arabic should be mentioned first 38.69.58.20 (talk) 18:17, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- I completely agree. Doesn’t make sense that it was written in that manner. 172.59.187.130 (talk) 14:24, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Requested change:
[edit]In line with the other articles in Wikipedia, in the first paragraph, instead of "The river passes by Jordan, Syria, Israel, and the Palestinian territories", it should say "The river passes by Jordan, Syria, Israel, and Palestine". Boatiocs (talk) 18:18, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Done - It was a redundant redirect to Palestine anyway. Sean.hoyland (talk) 13:07, 10 January 2026 (UTC)

Change endorheic river to endorheic river in the introduction. The manual of style recommends against having links placed together like this, as it can be confusing.
Perpetually Blooming Rose (talk) 12:52, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
Partly done: Changed to endorheic river. Day Creature (talk) 15:11, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Description of suggested change:
The article mentions that Prophet Muhhamad (SAW) was buried there but the article linked as a reference only claims his companions to be buried there
Diff:
| − | + | "Some of the companions of Muhammad are thought to have been buried along its banks" |
