I initialy started this page as Jordan Rally WRC for a couple of reasons. Firstly I thought that it would be a good idea to keep the page just for the WRC events that are held here, rather than having the Middle East Rally Championship as part of the same article as this may get confusing. Secondly, when looking at the 2008 WRC website it does say Jordan Rally WRC. Although on the official rally website it does call it Jordan Rally. Any thoughts on this would be appriciated.Cstubbies (talk) 21:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Prolog's edit summary explains it perfectly and I agree entirely, as would anyone else. But don't worry about it; just keep in mind the established naming conventions. Adrian M. H. 21:48, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Several sources do seem to call it "Jordan Rally WRC", but I don't think separate articles would serve the reader best. It's the same rally, after all, and pretty much every rally ever on the WRC schedule has been or is currently part of some other championship; national-level, ERC, IRC, et cetera.
