"Language of the far right"

[edit]

It looks as if there is a revert war about about a paragraph that has recently been added to the lede (it's been added, then removed, then added again). This statement cited a reliable source but, as the editor who removed it says, it does not use appropriately neutral language; by being placed in the lede it has also been given undue prominence (there is nothing about this incident in the main body of the article). I am reverting this, and if the consensus among editors is that it needs to be put back in, I think it needs to be put under "Secretary of State for Business and Trade (2024–present)". @Per$1$tenceofv1$1on, this content? There is nothing in the cited Guardian source supporting "started using the language of the far right", is there? -- DeFacto (talk). 17:45, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks @DeFacto. I didn't actually read the Guardian article - maybe I assumed too much good faith! I make that three valid reasons why the edit should stay reverted. Per$1$tenceofv1$1on (talk) 13:25, 19 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
