The statement that Jonathan and Ann built a house called "Maroon Hall" in Chester is unsourced, and seems to be based on the findagraves.com page that their portraits come from. That page has a photograph of the Prescott House Museum, which it labels "Maroon Hall (now Prescott House) in Chester, Lunenburg Nova Scotia. This was the home of Dr John Prescott and his second wife Ann Blagden Prescott." The Prescott House was actually built by their son Charles Ramage House in the 1810s and is in Starrs Point, not Chester. Per Mary Jane Katzmann's "History of the Townships of Dartmouth, Preston, and Lawrencetown," Jonathan's son John did own a house called Maroon Hall, but that house was in Preston, not Chester, and he purchased it in 1811.
