Jef Nys

I moved the Jef Nys bio to a separated page: Jef Nys. Altough I removed all the content from this latter page since it was a simple copy/paste from the following address : http://lambiek.net/artists/n/nijs.htm. Album section

Is there really a need to show al the albums at this page? We better create a new page to move the albums to, or just remove them from the en-wikipedia, after all they haven't been published in English.--Narayan (talk) 16:47, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

A new page isn't needed, this page isn't that long yet. If there comes at time that the Jommeke article is too long, it can always be split. As for the books (or the vast majority) not existing in English: that is not really relevant. They are all bestsellers in their own right, with the oldest ones having over 20 printings so far (and over 400,000 copies sold to a population of some 6 milion people!). Articles here should be written in English, but the subjects may be in any language. Fram (talk) 06:51, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Choco

Choco the chimp may be named for his chocolate-spread eating habit, but it is almost certainly also a play on a stereotypical name “Jocko” given to chimps (like calling a parrot “Poll” or “Polly” in English); Hergé gives the same name to the chimp in his Jo, Zette & Jocko books, and even earlier Steiff produced a stuffed toy chimp under that name (of which Hergé may have been aware, as he produced advertising material for a shop that sold them).
