origins of the name jolyon

The name Jolyon seems to have come into use after the Forsyte Saga was published.

My theory is that John Galsworthy, who wrote and invented the characters of old and young Jolyon, came upon the name when he was having coffee and chats with his friend and author Kenneth Grahame (who wrote The Wind in the Willows).
