Vinten-Johansen General Reference

[edit]

The page needs to be looked over for information from Vinten-Johansen when it was a general reference and cited with specific locations from the corresponding book. Tyrone Madera (talk) 20:05, 21 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

At the end of the last bullet point under "legacy and honours", there's a "citation needed" regarding the use of chloroform by John Snow in 1853. Here is a reference mentioning it : Akerman N, Dresner M. The management of breakthrough pain during labour. CNS Drugs. 2009 Aug;23(8):669-79. doi: 10.2165/00023210-200923080-00004. PMID: 19594196.  Not done: I believe the citation needed tag is referencing the TV episode itself as needing a reference; the 1853 use of chloroform is mentioned other places in the article, like here. Staraction (talk | contribs) 22:54, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Map with various points equal distance to other pumps

[edit]

In his text we have the line

The inner dotted line on the map shews the various points which have been found by careful measurement to be at an equal distance by the nearest road from the pump in Broad Street and the surrounding pumps;

The current map does not show this dotted line. I've found a version at https://johnsnow.matrix.msu.edu/work.php?id=15-78-55 that does include it. Should we include it? Salix alba (talk): 03:21, 28 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
