needs better sources

This article really needs work. I mean one out of the two sources is just a different encyclopedia. That especially needs to change. Additionally, I might suggest the "Microbe Hunters: the Classic Book on the Major Discoveries of the Microscopic World" by Paul de Kruif, I've found a full copy somehow from Google Books but the University of Nebraska - Lincoln has another copy at https://digitalcommons.unl.edu/zeabook/147/ . 192.12.14.2 (talk) 04:18, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
