This page needs a ton of work

I've stripped out a ton of uncited claims, embedded lists from 5 years ago, etc. Simply writing the claim as a citation isn't enough. Additional, secondary sources are required.

Revising this will take time. I can do what I can to at least fix a majority of the grammar and get it in line with Wikipedia:Manual of Style, but I'm hesitant to expand it as I know nothing of the material. Lindsey40186 (talk) 13:43, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

where are Hindu and Sikh Rajput Johiya?

Is there such a thing as Hindu or Sikh Rajput Johiya? I never seen a source for it or heard of them in real life. It seems only the Muslim ones are Rajput, and the Hindu and Sikh ones that are still in India (including Rajasthan where they were powerful in Jangladesh) identify as Jats to this day. And even the Muslim ones had Jats at least by 16th century under Fateh Khan Jat, and they became proper Rajputs in 18th century. Please change "By the 16th century, most of the Muslim Johiya chieftains were vassals of the Rathores of Bikaner State. They routinely fought with the Bhattis, who were also vassals of Bikaner, over the territories of Sirsa, Fatehabad, Rania and Hisar." to "During the 17th century, Muslim Johiya chieftains routinely fought with the Bhattis of Bhattiana and Rathores of Bikaner over the territories of Bhatner, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Rania and Hisar, often shifting their allegiance between the two sides."

The cited source does not mention Bhattis and Johiyas being the vassals of Bikaner and hence must be removed as per WP:NOR. I have also reworded the sentence slightly to show that they sometimes sided with Bhattis and sometimes with Rathores as stated in the events on page 39. Thank you and regards.
