Fair use rationale for Image:LAPD719.jpg

Image:LAPD719.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

References (or lack thereof)

This article uses IMDb as a reference, which is not considered a reliable source, and has been tagged since 2007 with an "unreferenced" tag. I was a big fan of the 2nd series (1967–1970) and watched many reruns of the first. I will personally certify the notability of the article. Oh wait! I'm sorry but Wikipedia does not recognize me as a reliable source. While the actor, and his fictitious character Joe Friday are not disputed, the article (on Wikipedia) being unreferenced, is disputed. I will try to find some references to "verify" the existence of the article. If this fails I will nominate the article for an article for deletion. Since I am not a deletionist, and considering the obvious notability of the actor, the show, and the character, I hope IMDb is not the only source. Otr500 (talk) 13:52, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
