Deletion of this article would be inappropriate. Bonner is a significant figure --- after all, I got here because I was looking for information about him. However, I think the article does need to be revised to appropriate format. SHJohnson (talk) 02:04, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Copyrighted content

[edit]

I've removed some content that seemed to be directly copy-pasted from an offline source. The author claimed to hold the copyright, so I've contacted them about releasing the text under a suitable license. Please don't add the copyrighted content back until permission has been verified through OTRS. Jafeluv (talk) 22:13, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I was just looking over the list at WP:JAZZ/To-do, which included this article until I removed it a moment ago. I thought I'd leave a comment here regarding a related issue. There had been some question (link), several months prior to Jafeluv deleting the text, as to why the editor's byline remained even though someone had modified the article's text in the meantime. Simply, bylines in articles are inappropriate (refer to WP:SIGNHERE), and any and all edits are subject to modification. (The question itself was confusing, because the editor used one account to make the edit(s) and another to ask the question. This seems as good a place as any to (hopefully) clear it up; I'm not sure that it was addressed anywhere else.) -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:56, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
