Braising?

Jjim is not limited to "cooking by steaming" - as in, cooking the food with steam. [Refer to this: http://pds14.egloos.com/pds/200902/05/36/a0100136_498a1fbb21067.jpg]

When used with meat, it is closer to braising. Check the description in that article. You will see what I mean. Seriously, you don't cook beef short rib in steam when you make Galbi Jjim.
