Film/I Go Back Home

A film was made about and with Jimmy, produced by Produced by Donna Hall, Andrei Filip, Ralf Kemper, Yoon-ha Chang. A trailer has been posted tou youtube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_fQYx50xg0 - In the details for the video it says that the film premiered in 2016 at SXSW. However, both the website and facebook page listed for the film are no longer valid. The last working version of the website can be seen at https://web.archive.org/web/20171110220227/http://i-go-back-home.com/

A double vinyl album and CD were released coincident with the film, but I can find no details on a DVD or streaming release. I will contact Ralf Kemper to see where/how the film can be seen. Once I have that I think the film should be added here.Cathcam (talk) 17:13, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

Soprano? Castrato?

His voice isn't nearly that high, I'd place him between tenor and alto but I'm hardly an expert. For comparison, listen to recordings of Alessandro Moreschi, an actual castrato. Or, you know, a female soprano.75.49.251.170 (talk) 08:49, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Little Jimmy Scott

He was known as "Little" Jimmy Scott in the 50s and 60s. Since his resurgence in popularity he's called himself Jimmy Scott. --SeanO 13:02, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi Wiki, This is Jimmy Scott's wife and personal manager. To add to your page Jimmy has also received the "Jazz In Our Time" LIVING LEGEND AWARD at the Kennedy Center March 2007, as well as the N.A.B.O.B. PIONEER AWARD that same month.

'Jimmy & I' have moved from Euclid, Ohio 3 years ago and reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jimmy has not lived in N.J. since 1996, nor I since 1999.

Please make the corrections.

Legacy section: video interview

The reference to "Smithsonian Institute for the National Archives" in the Legacy section doesn't make any sense. The Smithsonian Institution (not Institute) and the National Archives and Records Administration are completely independent of one another. Dgorsline (talk) 19:28, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
