This album is described as having been recorded and released in 1965; however, there are two things that suggest a 1964 recording year at the very least--if not the release year, too.

1. The Warner Archives CD reissue states "Originally Released 1964" 2. A Billboard magazine ad from January 16, 1965 is advertising the sale of this album. Seems very unlikely that this album was recorded and released in the time between January 1st and the time this issue of Billboard was released. Seems a little unlikely that Warner would release any album just after the holidays (and lose potential holiday sales) instead of just before them (in 1964). Thanks! It's great to see such good research for a minor detail. PLEASE carry on contributing to Wikipedia :) Gareth E Kegg (talk) 20:30, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
You're totally right! I just purchased the album from the Warner Archives, and on the back cover it says "First Released in 1964". I'm changing the article.
