The lead fails to summarize his views on race

One of the notable aspects of Jesse Helms is his incendiary rhetoric and actions on matters related to race. Yet, the lead makes no mention of the fact that the man was a race-baiter and, in the eyes of many, a racist. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 03:08, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
