To add to article

[edit]

Shouldn't we add a mention of the fact that, in the most recently released Epstein files, there is an August 2014 email in which Staley writes to Jeffrey Epstein to thank him for introducing him to Bibi Netanyahu, which contains an attached photo of Staley with Netanyahu? ~2026-72428-6 (talk) 19:46, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Snow white

[edit]

Should the article mention references to Snow White and Beauty and the Beast and rape allegations? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/feb/05/jes-staley-barclays-rape-allegation-us-prosecutors-epstein#:~:text=Staley%2520was%2520involved%2520in%2520an,Say%2520hi%2520to%2520Snow%2520White.%E2%80%9D ~2026-84357-7 (talk) 16:06, 7 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

The article says snow white is a mystery phrase but we can now see in the epstein files references to a snow white costume around that time. ~2026-84357-7 (talk) 16:08, 7 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Additional information about Staley's relationship to Epstein

[edit]

To add to this article (to help make it more properly encyclopedic): the fact that Jes Staley stated in court, while under oath, that he had sex with a member of Jeffrey Epstein's staff (who Epstein had introduced to Staley) at the home of Mark Epstein. Fine

[edit]

CNN states that Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority said in 2023 that it would ban Staley and fine him £1.8 million ($2.3 million) for allegedly misleading the watchdog over his relationship with Epstein. He is giving evidence at London’s Upper Tribunal this week. Source: https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/13/business/jes-staley-slept-with-epstein-assistant-intl

Why is this information not mentioned in the current version of this article? ~2026-12086-96 (talk) 04:45, 24 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Mention in Epstein survivor diary

[edit]

Shouldn't we mention that Staley is mentioned on page 12 of a diary of a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's child sex trafficking operation (EFTA02731352)? Source: https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2012/EFTA02731341.pdf

The decoded version of the coded handwritten passage reads as follows:

the unexpected visit from the disgusting Mr. Staley! If anyone ever calls me tinkerbell again I will lose my mind! He left bloody marks on my arms from his belt and thought he had the right to call me that when he has ears as big as Dumbo. I should have called him that in return!
