88th district ebike laws

[edit]

I would like to discussed Alabama ebike laws specifically in the 88th district which would cover autauga and Elmore county. I think that the e-bike and e-moto law should be changed in this district. Because the majority of it is rural area with low to no traffic on the county roads so as long as riders are riding responsibly it should be allowed to do so in rural areas with low to no traffic. Of course riders should be required to have safety gear and rearview mirrors on all bikes operating on these rural roads. So ask yourself when you like for your kids to be able to ride their ebikes and emotos on our county roads hassle free kids just having fun. Please consider what I am saying and thank you for your consideration. Shante82 (talk) 12:58, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree and support the change Shante82 (talk) 13:00, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I think it is a good idea because it would create revenue for this district and require e-bikes and e-motos to have a special rural road permit or pass. Shante82 (talk) 13:06, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
