Missing info

[edit]

The article doesn't give his place of birth, a nice detail to include. The information under Military Career is about his ancestors, not him; I suggest either changing the heading or moving the info into the section titled Career. It is also nice to see the Early Life info on historical figures, which is missing here. 24.244.23.214 (talk) 07:50, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Falklands war

[edit]

i was in young 18 year old boy on HMS fearless and a.royal signals telegraphists and my job was to receive all important messages for general moor and march in salute him and he would sign for the messages and I stood to attention waiting for any replies and he was a great chap who talked to me asking how old I was I told him that I was a KSLI CADET and I joined straight from school for the junior leaders and he said are you worried son be honest yes I said but only because I'm on the flag ship I would be much happier on shore doing what I was trained for. He smiled and said me too. Can't say what he did for me but for a general he was as down to earth as it gets. RIP SIR you were a legend. Thanks for getting me home safe.
