[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved by Anthony Appleyard (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA). In future please use WP:RMT for unnecessary disambiguation (unless an exception at WP:PRECISION). The notability is outside RM but if deemed not notable a new AFD (or G4 if applicable) can be used. Jeremy Diamond (journalist) → Jeremy Diamond – This is the only article on Wikipedia about a person named Jeremy Diamond. As such, there is no ambiguity that needs to be resolved. WP:NCP clearly states that "Firstname Lastname" is preferred, unless disambiguation is needed. As a bonus, Special:WhatLinksHere/Jeremy Diamond only contains one page in articlespace, and it refers specifically to Jeremy Diamond the CNN journalist. Wikiacc (¶) 02:26, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Clearly an uncontroversial technical request. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 04:48, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom - maybe uncontroversial speedy move? Paintspot Infez (talk) 12:57, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support, no other Jeremy Diamonds on Wikipedia. Since the target appears to be protected against recreation this would require admin assistance, but otherwise it looks like an uncontroversial technical request. PC78 (talk) 16:45, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Speedy move per PC78. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:51, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
