Note: @DaniloDaysOfOurLives and I are working very hard to review every single GA nomination in the television section. Consider joining us to clear the backlog!

Wow, this one looks like it took a lot of research and is very interesting! Looking forward to reviewing. IAWW (talk) 11:40, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

@PCN02WPS Review is below. I really found very little wrong with this article, and I think it was your best one I have reviewed yet! Good luck with Gideon Blackburn :) IAWW (talk) 13:25, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

What is a "classical school"? IAWW (talk) 13:24, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Linked Classical education. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:43, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Career

[edit]

I think this section could do with some subheadings. IAWW (talk) 13:24, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Added three where they felt the most natural. There are several sources about Oakland's history that I don't have access to but I am hoping to work out a way to get my hands on them and expand that last subheading. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:43, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Oh that would be great! Good luck. IAWW (talk) 09:40, 27 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Death and legacy

noted that his death: I don't think "noted" is the most neutral here. I think the word is usually used when implying that the PoV is correct. IAWW (talk) 13:24, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Good point. Switched to "claimed" PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:43, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

This is so interesting and well written!

and Alcorn A&M College (now Alcorn State University) was opened as the first black land grant institution in the country: In the same building? Otherwise, I don't see why this is relevant. IAWW (talk) 13:24, 24 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Removed as irrelevant to Chamberlain, minor reword to accommodate the change. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:43, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'm sure you tried your best to find a photo. It's unfortunate this doesn't have one though.

There is one very common one that Dickinson and Centre both use on their bios but I haven't been able to find the original publication date. I am hoping to take this to FAC so I'll definitely have to have that in order to get that pic on the article, but I will keep looking! PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:43, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
Good luck! IAWW (talk) 09:39, 27 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
