Edit request: headquarters location and product range
[edit] | Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. |
I'm Jay Kim, founder of JemJem, so I have a conflict of interest (disclosed on my user page). I'm requesting two small factual updates, supported by the company's own website, which I understand is acceptable for basic, non-promotional facts under WP:ABOUTSELF. I'm not asking for any other changes.
1. Headquarters: Costa Mesa → Irvine
- Infobox: change
hq_location = Costa Mesa, California, United Statestohq_location = Irvine, California, United States - Lead: change "and is based in Costa Mesa, California." to "and is based in Irvine, California.[1]"
- Categories: replace Category:Companies based in Newport Beach, California and Category:Privately held companies based in Costa Mesa, California with Category:Companies based in Irvine, California (or the appropriate Irvine subcategory).
- Source: jemjem.com homepage states devices are "inspected in our Irvine, California lab" and "tested and shipped from our Irvine, California warehouse."
2. Product range
- In "Products and services", change the first sentence to: "JemJem sells refurbished Apple devices and accessories, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch product lines, and also lists some refurbished Samsung and Dyson products.[1]"
- Source: jemjem.com homepage: "starting with refurbished iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. We also carry select Samsung and Dyson when in stock."
Thank you for reviewing. Jay Kim (JemJem) (talk) 22:38, 29 September 2026 (UTC)

[edit]1. Headquarters: Costa Mesa → Irvine
Partly done: I have applied the update and removed the categories that are no longer relevant.
2. Product range
Not done: We need a source for this that isn't the company's site.
I am marking this request as partially complete. Packrat3860 (talk) 04:16, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
