Saldi was a color commentator for World Class Championship Wrestling for a brief while during 1982. I forget exactly why, though. Was there a "labor stoppage" going on in the NFL at the time? Otherwise, I'm guessing that Bill Mercer (heavily involved in the production of the promotion's television program in addition to being its host) used his connections because he figured it would be a good idea for the ratings, or some such thing.RadioKAOS (talk) 14:19, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
