There's been some back-and-forth between:

I looked at the Nature paper, and didn't see any indication that Diamond was a Nature editor, and there's nothing in ~~the~~ this article indicating that he was ever an editor for the journal. I honestly don't remember which source discussed it at this point. One of the sources about the controversy mentioned as such, but it's also not that important. The text change seems fine to me. Silver seren^C 22:18, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
