Death date and location

Her official Instagram page posted an updated. Leaving this here since I feel weird using an Insta post as a source (not reliable/recommended). Perhaps the NYT will update their obit soon. "With great sadness, the Jane Goodall Institute confirmed this morning the passing of the organization’s founder, Dr. Jane Goodall, age 91, who died of natural causes in Los Angeles, CA while on her speaking tour in the United States." Infobox image

Now that Dame Jane Goodall has passed away, much like with other people, the infobox image should ideally be changed to an older one. Until we find a good image of Goodall when she was younger, I think we should keep this image in the meantime. I’m not sure if there’s a good image of her in her younger years, as opposed to many other deceased individuals, as her earliest image that Commons has is from 2006. Younger-aged photo

The article could use a photo of her at a younger age when she became famous. Maybe someday her foundation, family, or a friend could donate one to Wikimedia Commons (Category:Jane Goodall by year) or maybe there's an old publicity photo. The current version of the image (A) in the infobox clearly shows Goodall, but she was perhaps too close to the camera, and the photo only includes her head.

Goodall did not earn a BA at Newnham, as the sidebar says she did. She earned a PhD from Newnham in 1966, without any prior undergraduate work or degree. Another pop culture reference to Jane Goodall was in What's New Scooby Doo, season 1, episode 8: "Safari, So Goodi!" Which aired originally in November 23, 2002 in the U.S.A. In that episode Mystery Inc are aided by famous and well respected Zoologist "Joan Goodfew" whilst investigating missing animal populations in Malawi. It is the only episode she appears in.
