Expansion

[edit]

I thought someone of Timman's stature deserved a more substantial article so I've used the Dutch version to expand it. Of course it needs references so any help here would be appreciated. Pawnkingthree (talk) 10:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Timmans game

[edit]

Hi, a friend of mine, Jan van Dorsselaer (91) created this endgame in 1963 for Jan Timman during his early years. Jan Timman played it in bars for money: Black to play. You choose the color and I win for f 2,50 / game. Can someone help to incorporate this in the article as an anecdote? I have no idea how to cite this. Might be impossible.

Is this anecdote really encyclopedic? Interesting endgame! Grimes2 16:32, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
It is never published, pitty. I try to get it published through KNSB by an interview. I could include it with [citation needed] ? Cheers, Harold Foppele (talk) 18:40, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately without a reliable citation we can't include it in the article per WP:V.Em-as-in-emily (talk) 20:45, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
