There is an unsourced statement on a disambiguation page that woo-woo is a "A term used by magician and skeptic James Randi to denote paranormal, supernatural and occult claims". It would be nice to have a citation for it and reflect it in this article. In a quick initial search, I found references to "woo woo" dating back to 1992. And Will Storr's 2014 book The Unpersuadables credits Randi as having invented the phrase. Randi's 1982 book Flim-Flam! does not use the phrase. ScienceFlyer (talk) 19:22, 11 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
