In his cooking program he said he is married.

Two issues I would address:

1. W. Chump & Sons was not James's employer, it was a company he co-owned with Clarkson, Hammond, and Wilman.
2. Shouldn't the known for section of the box be for major things like Top Gear (2002) and The Grand Tour, rather than everything he's done on TV since leaving Top Gear? It makes the current info box overly long and it just duplicates information found in the article.

Dubious information and in need of updating.

The article makes the unfounded claim that James is 6'0" tall (which I very much doubt) with no citations to back it up. Someone just thought "6? That'll do", did they?

Also the article makes no mention of James's venture into making gin – his own brand is called James Gin. That he promotes it on the YouTube channel James May’s Planet Gin and frequently collaborates with ex-DriveTribe member Lucy Brown. There is also no mention that he continues to collaborate with Richard Hammond on DriveTribe – the two recently raced a car and a plane and revisited the old Top Gear hangar and airfield on the channel. – Dyolf87 (talk) 17:21, 12 June 2025 (UTC)

He's also nicknamed Bim after he accidentally misspelled Jim as Bim on a robohon he was using in the James May:Our Man in Japan episode "Hey Bim!" And it became a running joke to call James Bim 86.10.165.202 (talk) 18:03, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
