Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of August 15, 2009, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Pass; Rather good, perhaps on FA, the lead could use a bit of servicing.
2. Factually accurate?: Fail, for now. Improve references in the sections: "Other notable structures" and "Bijay Mandal."
Mostly done
3. Broad in coverage?: Fail, for now. I'd like a major improvement to the etymology section.
But there isn't anything more - The name has such a simple, obvious andunarguable origin. Hometech (talk) 10:51, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
4. Neutral point of view?: Pass
5. Article stability? Pass
6. Images?: Pass A bit much. Cut a few.
Removed some

The article is a pass if these changes are made.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— The New Mikemoral ♪♫ 04:10, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Several unreferenced paragraphs (the first paragraphs of subsections Begumpur Mosque and Bijay Mandal, and the second paragraph of section Other notable structures) and sentences. Where did "The tomb building, elevated on twelve columns with perforated screens on the façade, features a large dome set on a sixteen-faced drum. The ceiling is adorned with intricate plaster medallions on the spandrels of the arches, while the parapets display a merlon design" come from?

There is also egregiously non-neutral prose, much of which is probably LLM-generated:

Kalu Sarai Masjid ... urgently requires restoration due to its status as a heritage monument

Today, remnants of the city lie scattered across Begumpur village, serving as a silent testament to its ancient glory

A majestic building in the heart of the city with pride of place played a pivotal role in serving as a madrasa
