Use of citations

[edit]

This is an absurd use (and misuse of citations). Viriditas (talk) 22:28, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Notability needs to be confirmed through verifiable secondary sources

[edit]

I had noticed the ridiculous amount of citations for his own work, and recently saw the PROD and De-PROD. What is needed to establish notability per WP:GNG are fully independent, verifiable sources that provide significant coverage about him, not what he has written himself, and not sources that are directly connected to him (like where he worked). For example independent news articles about specifically him, reviews of his books in academic journals or art magazines. Courtesy pings to @Wilafa: and @Blackballnz:. Also the titles of works should not be in bold, they should be italics. Netherzone (talk) 00:20, 25 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
