(the sources appear sufficient to verify and show /ny, tho more can & should be added) "1919 was a year of many pogroms in Ukraine, in addition to the forced conscription of young men into the Ukrainian Nationalist Army that attempted to keep the country independent of the Soviet Union." - (1) there was no Soviet Union in 1919, not even a hint of it.
