Awkward wording in Bering Strait Fur Trade Network section

Current wording for the Bering Strait Fur Trade Network section seems especially awkward and stilted. Wanted to reword it myself, but checking the sources I'm not seeing the "non-practical uses were limited to children's toys" bit in the cited source.
