Death needs confirmation

[edit]

OK, this does not pass WP:RS, but I'm mentioning it in case the info gets added without corroboration. According to a reader comment on the Aviation Herald article on the accident that befell RusAir Flight 243, Saenko was one of the 44 casualties. If this can be confirmed by a reliable source, such as ITAR-TASS, RIAN etc, then the info can go into the article.

That post at Aviation Herald also stated that Vladimir Pettai was killed, which is confirmed by ITAR-TASS, this gives weight to the claim, but it still needs confirmation. Mjroots (talk) 14:51, 21 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
This official list of passengers give Igor Petrovich Sayenko as a casualty. Given the lack of noise from elsehwere, I think we can safely state that Ivan Sayenko was not on the accident aircraft. Mjroots (talk) 09:27, 22 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
