ITS came out in the very late 60's (like '69 or so) and was mostly used in the 70's and early 80's, so I don't think that charactertization as a 60's OS is really correct. Also, most of the really novel features of ITS (e.g. the shared file systems, etc) weren't in the early versions, but only were added in the 70's. Noel 15:00, 1 Sep 2003 (UTC)
