Notability

[edit]

As this is a very short article detailing a minor conspiracy theory should it merged into "Attempts to overturn the 2020 United States Election" specifically under the "stop the steal conspiracy section? Goldenbeef (talk) 08:32, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Goldenbeef: As the creator, if you wish to merge this article into that section I will not object. – Bangalamania (talk) 11:42, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

The theory did not originate from a fake news website

[edit]

The theory originated from Trump enthusiasts, who then propagated it via fake news websites they controlled. The details of how the theory was originated and spread are interesting and relevant. HouseOfChange (talk) 08:38, 27 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Just how could this alleged tampering to be done?

[edit]

Possibly renewed interest in this conspiracy theory as Trump cited it as one reason for seizing the election records in Fulton County (Georgia) last week, and the Italy connection could the basis for having the Directory of National Intelligence (Tulsi Gabbard) on-scene. So we come back to the question of: just how could "Italian military satellites" access any voting system? Has any student of this theory found any technical details? Have any proponents been challenged to explain how this was supposedly done? Lacking any evidence otherwise, this theory is so absurd as to be fantasy. As most readers probably don't understand this, it would be a great service to demonstrate either how the voting systems were (or could be) accessed, or, alternatively, why such satellite access is so improbable. ~2026-79908-9 (talk) 20:45, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
