kula (north-west Vashkinsky region.) - according to the first hypothesis - from the Vepsian kula - "village (group of villages); central village of the volost". Another curious meaning of the Vepsian kula is "generally foreign villages" 176.65.112.141 (talk) 22:23, 13 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
