[edit]I am an Israeli living in Canada, I have been living here most of my life, but when I turned 18 I joined the I.D.F, I was in a combat unit stationed around the westbank, I always loved the I.D.F but because of financial problems in the army I was not able to stay as a career, since that did not work out I later decided that I want to join the Israeli police and help fight terrorism. My question is how can I join the force?, what do I need and what do I have to do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.96.86.4 (talk) 15:16, 13 December 2004 (UTC)

Ministry of Public Security
[edit]Please create the Ministry of Public Security of Israel article.
By the way Government of Israel article is missing. Please do not make it as a redirect to Politics of Israel. `'mikka (t) 23:57, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Strange category
[edit]The article, along with the Israel Border Police, is categorized under: "National law enforcement agencies of the Israel". The category likely appears in one of the templates and I have little time to check this now. Would appreciated it if something else did. —Ynhockey (Talk) 07:48, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

"Even though Arabs make up a fifth of the general population, only 1,183 officers are Arabs, representing 3.5 percent out of 32,000 officers on the force. More than half of them – 641 officers – have been hired in the last four years." [1]
