Replacement of stub with expanded version (September 2022)

[edit]

I've removed the stub tag and replaced the original stub with a completely rewritten and much expanded version, which discusses the circumstances of the foundation of the monastery and describes the remains of the two churches in some detail. I've incorporated the references added last month by User:Ingratis and added a number of others besides. I've also added a bunch of images, all of them my own, unfortunately. That's not because I think they're great photos (they're not -- they're just a few quick shots taken during a 10-minute stop at the site 30 years ago), but because there were literally no others available in the Commons. Isova is an important site architecturally, but not much visited, so I decided to upload these scans of my old 35mm slides as a stopgap until someone else contributes something better. Thanks - this is great! I was only able to add a few refs as a sticking plaster - delighted to see a proper article appearing. Ingratis (talk) 22:53, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
