I'm in favor of making the intro accessible to a general audience, but also feel the math should remain in the body of the article. I've added a new section for it. I also fixed some awkward wording like "the thing submitted to this process". StuRat 14:42, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

The burning of the gasoline-air mixture in the ideal Otto cycle is, but in the "real life" it's not. In the diesel cycle the burning of the mixture is isobaric.--Nachoj (talk) 15:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems like this is not just theoretical now. The 26.11.2021 Science Friday had researchers talking about their results in freezing food as well as the process's potential in other areas such as organ transplantation.
