Unsourced edit for "Gameplay": In Islands of Insight, the player navigates an open world in search of various puzzle types, such as mazes, hidden gates, perspective puzzles, Match-3 puzzles, or "puzzle grids", which themselves have varying rules from puzzle to puzzle. Each solved puzzle awards experience points and money, with which the player can buy various cosmetic items, and some puzzles award Mirabilises, which control and gate progression.

The world also contains "enclaves", which are typically unlocked manually after a certain amount of requirements has been met, such as reaching a certain level or collecting enough Mirabilises.

Due to the multiplayer nature of the game, it's possible to interact with other players via a limited set of commands similar to Emojis or via in-game character movement. Players can help each other solve different puzzles, or show unique spots to each other.

(All of this is unsourced but based on my own gameplay experience, if anyone does have a good source feel free to copy-paste directly!) Epsilon greater null (talk) 23:29, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
