Introduction to article

[edit]

I feel like the intro to this article is vague. Because of this there is not a strong enough hook to encourage people to read. The article should have a stronger definition to what "island studies" are. A strong definition could get readers more interested and continue reading.

I feel like this wiki page is pretty bare. Julissa1997 (talk) 16:41, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree that the article is a stub but disagree that it need a "hook". Wikipedia articles are meant to be neutral and factual. They are meant to follow the structure of an encyclopedia. Hooks tend to be used either in journalism or fiction. Alexei Michael (talk) 16:45, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I think this article could be added to in order to give more than just surface level information. It does not tell the readers that much. Mtcav4 (talk) 13:11, 3 April 2024 (UTC) mtcav4Reply

I think this article should have a picture of the subject added to it. Katatwiki2024 (talk) 15:06, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
