I removed this link because attempting to access the photos (the only relevant content) throws a 404 Not Found error. It would be nice to have access to those photos but I have no idea how one would get permission to display them.

Further to the comment above, In May 2014, I tried emailing the editors of Top Gear, presumed owners of the Isachsen photos that were available on the web at one time - but I got no response. My intention was to get those photos put into the public domain. Since that was unsuccessful, All references to the Hilux Challenge should probably be dropped from this article. --RandyDueck (talk) 17:58, 8 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

The article says "In 1977, the Canadian government made a significant investment in Isachsen to upgrade its buildings." but if you follow the link to the pictures I took in the winter of 1973 at Isachsen, you will see the new barracks and electrical generating station have already been built.
