Facilities section written like an ad

[edit]

The Facilities section reads like ad copy, so I've flagged it. David Delony (talk) 16:52, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I understand the sentiment, however (a) it was mostly written by me, several years ago, and (b) it's primarily reliant on info from an episode of Modern Marvels, the History Channel program. Looking over it again now, it seems like a pretty trivial subjectthough if it warranted a twenty-minute Modern Marvels segment I suppose it warrants a Wikipedia article as well, and any article should be as comprehensive as possible IMO. The nature of the description, being about a private business, lends itself to jargon which may sound like it's from a company-sponsored website or brochure, but so long as it sticks to the factual and leaves out the subjective I think it's okay. Anyways feel free to rework the article if you'd like, but short of removing informationsomething to which I'm always opposed regardless of subject or authorI'm not really sure what more could be done.--Xiaphias (talk) 23:33, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

What company was he actually working? He couldnt have been working for Standard oil, as they were broken up in 1911. 47.214.10.144 (talk) 15:48, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
