Extraordinarily bad choice

The section Invariance on homogeneous spaces begins with this passage:

"Let M = G/H be a homogeneous space for a Lie group G and a Lie subgroup H. Every representation gives rise to a vector bundle

"

It is hard to think of any worse choice of typography than using two different characters that appear almost identical in the same equation.
